I found it really unnerving, but I thought the ending that's in the version of the movie that's in theaters now was retarded. The original ending was relatively realistic and more unnerving as a result of that.

This is one of those movies that try to induce teh cold creep... when done right this genre of horror is as good as it gets IMO, although this one didn't do it for me, couldn't get passed the acting and the lame dialog, it ruined the illusion.

Watched this last night with my girlfriend. Was pretty well done and the bit when she was (SPOILER: dragged out of bed and down the hall by the thing was probably the scariest part.)

Didn't like the ending too much though. I wanna see the other ending now.

There is a bit on the tv advert where somebody appears to be thrown towards the camera. I didnt see this on either of the versions I watched (once alone and again with the missus. Has anybody else seen this version???

i havnt seen the other one, (which is porobably the other version u watched,) something about her slitting her throat?

In the one I saw she goes sleep walking downstairs again, summin happens so she screams and her boyfriend wakes up and goes running downstairs after her. You hear a bit of commotion and she walks back into the room covered in blood, holding a knife. She sits on the floor and rocks for what the clock shows to be about 18 hours. Somebody, presumably her sister who has been calling her house through out the day, visits and finds her boyfriend dead downstairs so calls the police. The police arrive and search the house (while they do a light turns on in the back room) and they find her rocking uncontrollably, she suddenly snaps out of it and hysterically starts calling for her boyfriend, the police tell her to drop the knife but she doesnt and continues walking towards then so they shoot her dead. They hear a noise in the back room so investigate but find nothing. They then find the video camera and it fades to black...

This is the ending where she throws him at the camera.



I much prefer this ending to the police one as it gives you a jump at the end and is just better.
