Fuck insomnia... I used to take kalms sleep which helped, but since smoking weed again, never had it, only had odd nights where I couldn't pick up, n was jus laid in bed for hours, but eventually got to sleep, the worst nights i had were where you're having bad dreams and jus tossing and turning, and waking up every 5/10minutes and thinkin how fucked the dream was, and knowin that it's gonna be the same dream when you put your head down again.... fuck dreams that fuck you up.... green is for me, or one of my mums sleeping pills which send me on a mild trip before dozing off... not a good thing when you're 10/11 on christmas eve thinkin theres rats under the carpet n that your bunk bed's a boat
Dark angel, fall from the heavens above, send me an angel to heal my heart from being in love... After all of the love for you, in my life, but it wasn’t good enough for you, I can’t take no more tears from my eyes.... But it wasn’t good enough for you, I can't take no more hurt from that time....

Yeah I tried self medicating with weed many a time. It'd just make me twitchy and get me in a lucid state unable to sleep. It wouldn't make it worse necessarily, it just wouldn't help. BUT, just like opiates, it'd get me in a state where I wasn't just lying there frustrated for hour after hour, I'd be nice and relaxed and wouldn't really care about the sleep deprivation.

Alcohol worked for me but that probably contributed to my already fucked liver.

I tried 1/8 litre vodka a night before bed for a few weeks and it just gave me rediculous heart burn. Fuck alcohol.

I think someone posted a video on here a while ago studying the effects of caffeine/alcohol on your sleep, and they're not good, even if a drink might get you to sleep quicker. I don't mean to sound preachy there, I do it to, because it's easier.

This is interesting.

'It should come as no surprise that staring at a computer screen and enthusiastically typing or surfing not only can steal precious time you should be banking in deep sleep, but the actual light emanating from the screen can also disrupt your body's ability to prepare for sleep and literally wind down.'

Think this is the cause of why i can never get sleep.
