Yeah I wouldn't call this high quality, (I recently deleted most of my music collection because it was under 192kbs, 192 is the threshold really, I can't stand most vbr, maybe it's just the encoding people use but I hear it distort on certain parts)

This is a vinyl release though right?

It's been a while since I've bought some new reso :D

I simply love the fact that Reso belongs to the rare breed of producers who can sound totally different on each track but still have his name written all over the tracks.

Safe to say I'm supporting Reso tracks everywhere I go.

Dude chill! It seems that they have replaced the original mp3s that were being used. I can hundred percent reassure you that the first few days they were uploaded in 128 kbps encoded using itunes (i realise that this is still below the 192 benchmark, but it was the best quality you could get), files tagged and everything. They changed them like 2 days after i made this post, possibly a coincidence, or maybe they read the post. Either way was a smart move that they did. I do admit because i am so impatient, i gave the songs a cheeky save, just so i could give the album a good listen to for a few days on my ipod. But of course the quality is nothing close to the lossless stuff i usually listen so now i'm looking forward to the digital release more than ever to bang out on my monitors

reso is the shit, but electronic records that play on 33 are not a good idea. 25 percent less info per second really takes away from electronic music imo, last 33 i bought was dom - dynamo and it sounds like poop even tho its on moving shadow. forget the fact that 33s take a bit more maintenance to mix and 95 percent of djs cant mix in the first place. just some food for thought, i will def be lookin for this on digical.

that dom 12 did sound a bit muddy, but i don't think it has anything to do with it being a 33. i have plenty of dubstep and dnb 33s and they sound excellent. i have no problem spinning 33s either. will probably buy digi anyway though!

anyways, big up reso.

true, with a producer as crispy and lush as reso id rather just buy it all seperately at 45 and be able to bask in the sheer neatness of it all...
