Old Bikes look a hell of a lot cooler. I guess with modern bikes it's all about reducing weight and being aero dynamic. Whereas in the past they just had to look cool.

It's nothing to do with patriotism but I do think that British classic sports cars and bikes are amongst the most sexiest objects of engineering and design. I think you're right, it's a lost age. This is in the fifties and sixties, post war Britain, when flying was still cool and chicks wore tights with a hem up the back. Sexy and cool was much simplier and a clear cut ethos, today it has no soul, it's primary purpose is to make it cheap and sell it fast to the most people.

used to have a vespa when i lived in the city, loved it, went well with me old parka jacket haha. now im back out in the suburbs iv got to have something a bit bigger, although i just got a letter through, bloody court summons, losing my licence. :cry: not stoked at all. bit of a nightmare considering i live above a motorbike shop!!
