Alchemy

Not just for the granular re-synthesis hoodoo stuff. The VA is great, and the modulation is staggering. It has 3 filters per voice, plus two main filters, plus fx filters. Camel tube and bitcrush disortion, Sweeeet :D Nasty twisty b-lines aplenty

Best. Synth. Ever. :o

it is really the best synth I've ever used.
Not meaning to jump on the bandwagon here but Im starting to think this too. Its just sooooo versatile.
With Alchemy I liked making bizarre sounds other than bass. Bass was never the focus for me with this (especially as I don't make that sorta music anyway)

Instruments: Zebra 2 (I've used this on everything, one way or another)
Effects: More Feedback Machine 2 (delayayay ay ay ay), IL's love philtre (6 freely routable filters, waveshapers, trancegate, unlimited MSEG's, etc)

I'm really having fun with Alchemy now, but I don't have it long enough to be considered a favourite (same with massive actually)

I use Alchemy for pretty much everything now. It's not that heavy on the CPU, so I use it for everything from bass to granular soundscapes and pads to other misc noises. I haven't really explored the additive/spectral side yet. I just find the interface so easy to use that anything else (except maybe FM8) is a pain.

CM Dominator

CMT bitcrusher
TAL Dub II
KR Reverb ( a bit heavy on cpu tho)

The DSK stuff is nice too...

Yeah its gonna take something special to oust Massive as my "go to synth" for subs. But recently Ive been moving away from the more bass driven tunes and trying some diferent angles of sound design so Alchemy and to a lesser extent Absynth have been more useful.

If you are stuck in a rut with your productions I would recommend it 100%
