Have you tried uploading with a different browser? Could be down to compatibility issues as well as the site being a bit creaky. Worth a go anyway, 2 hours wait is long!

I used to love the cloud - it was just what I wanted - I even went PRO for £100
Now this Taylor update has fooked the whole thing ...
I had lots of DJ mixes up there so as soon as they changed the rules I went from 15 uploads a month to "sorry you only have 10 minutes of space left"
Even tho they upgraded me its not made any difference really - if I want to get the same level of 15 uploads per month now I have to take the top rated package which is £500 - HOW THE FUCK CAN THEY INCREASE COSTS BY 500%?
They have promised me more free minutes but what happens when its time to renew? I either stump up on that 500% increase or I effectively lose my online archive I spent a year building up.
I encourage everyone to give them shit about the new deal till they change it. :u:

Soundcloud was never intended to be used for mixes anyway.

YEah I got mixcloud but its not as good - no downloads no widgets not much of a community as yet
I can get my head around the argument that scloud was not intended to be for mixes but that was never said clearly imo
Its still way out of order for those of us who signed up for one thing (ie online archive which is downloadable) and then after less than a year have the carpet pulled from under me.
And at the very least the new imposed limits should not be retrospective - I signed up for 15 uploads of any length a month - if they change the rules fine but you should not count uploads done under the previous agreement - thats shit

I'd say so, it must have been costing them a fortune to run considering how many people use it as a free service. I mean, take a look at Myspace and all the money they generate for themselves from advertising and it's utter shite when compared to Soundcloud. People will always find something to complain about :)
