Really pleased by all the positive feedback - I have to say that when I finished Billy Preston Dub I really didn't think anyone would like it! Early encouragement from Boomnoise and Selector Dub-U made me persevere and I'm glad I did now. If you play it out, let me know how it goes down...

got to say i didn't get billy preston for a good few listens. clicked last night after mixing it with shonky's "night shift", think its something to do with the abstract drums which almost leave the rythmn to the wobble. When u realise where the snare would be it all makes sense.

That's right Joe, those are abstract drums and that's why I thought noone woul like it. But it seems to work when played out - some people have reported rewinds for it. Even though the snare and the hats are on way-out jazz rhythms, it looks like the groove is still coming through...
