I've always thought something from Distance would suit a deep phsycological horror film. Proper gritty raw type business.

dubstep is influenced by movie soundtracks, so naturally a lot of tracks would fit in movies. they're just not tailor made

tell you what it definitely would be good in; Marvel vs. Capcom.
still partially had a roll on the day after this massive- went over to a friends, cranked the bass, muted the tv and played some marvel vs. capcom 2.
orsm.
but yeah, I imagine it would.

I've put a couple of mellower tunes to skate sections i've made. I think they work quite well edited so the skater lands on the claps of snares of the scene cuts on beat...

And we hand it back over to the fat guy with the mash.

Something I knocked up a few days ago, Old track still, but this scene inspired it:

If you haven't seen the Alien abduction scene in 'Fire in the Sky', it gets a bit disturbing towards the end. :)

skream + benga to do an entire soundtrack, with full orchestral backing.

Imagine the camera flying over the indian countryside, over a hill, and into the middle of an awesome futuristic city of awesomeness.

Lie blade runner... but better.

That reminds me, blade runner could be re-scored with the calmer DMZ stuff....

It would totally work.

Kryptic Minds tunes would go well in the "Alien" quadrilogy.

Ripley flaming bare heads with "one of us" playing in the background.

How about the bit in shawshank redemption when andy locks himself in that room and plays that classical tune. Just replace that tune with Japan.
