Decided I'm gunna dwld the samples even though I'm not allowed to take part, purely to whore more samples from people ;) :mrgreen:
Plus, I'll get an idea of what will be made I guess :e:

What are the rules on this? I take it you don't have to use all the samples?

Nah you needn't use every sample that's given to you at all ;)
The only rule is that you can only use the samples given and DSP (Digital Sound Processing) such as cutting them up, adding effects etc.

yeah thats kinda weird, i hope this idea isnt a buzz kill. :) doesnt matter either way to me i just love making the tune itself.

You can do whatever the hell you want with it. We've had DnB, electro, house-esque stuff submitted in the past. A good tune is a good tune regardless of genre.

...and do WHATEVER you want with them. Check back and listen to previous contests if you want. People create totally unrecognisable tunes.

dsf 19 thread there was talk of it, i think someone just decided were gonna do it, whatever we will see how it goes..
