By now I fully expected to have a robot valet, and to travel everywhere by jetpack. The disappointment has been crushing. But this clever thing almost makes up for all that. Its a genius idea to have a toaster that also poaches eggs. Seems obvious really as you want one with the other.

Minor quibbles from me are that the non-stick egg container isn't very non-stick.

There are claims it also fries eggs but I am not so sure about that. You might put some oil in there with it but its still a poached egg. The packaging of my one also suggested baked beans were an option but I can find no intructions for this.

But for poached eggs on toast - I am delighted.

If you stick to the same sized eggs you will quickly find just the right amount of water to add to get them just right for you. Personally, the measuring beaker's idea of soft was a little too hard for me. A couple of days trial and error though and I have made my own mark on the measuring cup.

If they could mate this with a teasmaid my mornings would be perfect.

Yes quite ! ,and where might I ask does one put ones dry cure bacon rashers and black pudding slices/sausages/baked beans?.A very poorly thought out culinary invention indeed,I'll warrant you this was designed by some rye bread munching Scandic type and not a red blooded product of the British empire.
