Synths? - NI Massive, 3xOSC

Be sure to distort all of your synths good.

Drums? Kick on one, snare on 3, shuffle the highs.

On the production page thier is a 'search' box... try typing into it things like 'how to make wobbles'.

Also, read the 'Dubstep Production Bible' stickied at the top of the production page.
why do you tell them to stick to the f-word formula? :? just people who come in 'new' should be leaded in a other directino than kick-snare-kickkick-snare-chainsaw. and then, when they start producing shit and post it on youtube, we start shouting out about them.

no man, let's give them a shout to the other direction, to the inspirative direction, to the natural way of doing music, FRESH music.

don't take it personal

Well, okay, check it check it check it... this was a joke thread if you missed it, whoever did it did 2 of them... Thier fuckin hilarious if you ask me, the other ones even better... but.. Thats not always true! Snare on 3 and a couple synth tips isnt a formula... its a nudge... What I said left infinite possibilities, I just gave a good FM synth n an idea of where to put a snare so a DJ can always find that common element that holds a dancefloor, I didnt wanna sound like I was sayin go make chainsaws...

N on another note, who says chainsaws cant be creative? You just heard my new tune, innit? Not your typical chainsaw, n guess what, I used an FM synth and a distorted 3osc, n the snares on the third... n youve heard midnight request line innit? He used a lightly distorted 3osc and an fm synth, n the snares on the third! Not too compare my tune too Skreams, but, you seein what Im gettin at how I gave a toolset n not a formula?

N unless were listenin to Taiko Riddim or the Quawalli VIP.. snare on the third generally makes dub

just read that thread... always ignored it because i don't give a nut on 4x4 bassline. (thread is great by the way, made my shitty night pass through damn quickly)

must say that i'm not talking bout the creative stuff. of course you can make great music with the ''formula''. not saying that its not possible. And I believe that you are able to use this formula in a way that your sound sounds unique. (yeah man, i've heard your work in progress just before, and yeah, it has a nice flavor!) but i allways doubt that people who make their way to music that easy, by going to a forum and asking such a question are going to put enough effort in this.

but anyway,
much love :t:
