I never EQ anything side from rollin my subs off at 20 and keepin my leads away from the bass range and from killin the highs (prolly cause I mix my hats low)....

So EQ int everything.... least in my opinion... If you just watch the analyzer while you browse for sound, you get a heads up on whats gonna sit where in the range... Using this, you can plan ahead, like, say you open a lead n see it goes waaay down into your mid basses space, well now you know, before its part of the song, and can plan around that... get it?
