The myspace upload is bad quality, and it's not mastered very well, but it should give you an idea of what's going to be on the cd.

That's the label.

Its basically when i took a real interest in music, going to techno nights in a dingy as fuck club called subway in aberdeen, getting mashed and dancing all weekend. Then going to edinburgh for nights at the venue and the carlton studios. I've had some of the best times of my life with a techno soundtrack so it means quite a lot to me i suppose.
Ha ha,did you go to pure at the venue? best times of me life, the derrick may allnighter[95' or 96'?]was bloody amazing.Used to love going to Sativa as well, was that at La belle Angelle?,my addled mind can't quite remember :D .

i'm not even sure.
the only thing i know is i didn't like it before.
to soulless, monotome, dead,...
i went to a techno party when i was 18 to be able to stand behind my opinion and i stuck to it, i just didn't like it.
right now i can listen to anything in the direction but i'm not sure what techno is.
does old school industrial strength stuff also count?

When I hear it I just think of all forms besides hard techno. All my mates bar one associate it with hardcore, playing them tunes by The Field or something is usually a pretty big culture shock.

But yeah, pretty much this -

I suppose it's a mix between neo-trance and microhouse, but thats splitting hairs. I just call it techno.

it's the same problem with dubstep these days. techno is generally assumed to be the hard stuff and likewise most people will think of lowest common denominator crackstep when dubstep is mentioned, but with both there's plenty of stuff out there to challenge preconceptions
