All that, like, seriously, offering post info about non forum members... over what? A thread that you didnt like?
Grow up dude. For real? Knock me because Im only 19, and then oogle my girls myspace so long you feel the need to bring it up on DSF? OVER A FORUM THREAD? Get a life man.

That ohm is pretty sweet looking too!
Is that fully midi compatible, or is it one of these ableton-specific controllers Ive heard of?
I need something like that too replace a NANOcontrol... need WAAY more buttons and wold love a horizontal crossfade/faders instead of mapping the nanos vertical to crossfade...
Lol, Im wondering, in a thread about live rigs, why noones mentioned a turntable, anywhere, haha...

You know the drill Basic, the forum is business. But when he starts fucking with your girl and your family, it's personal.
Now, call in Luca and he'll get the job done for you properly.
Tom will handle the legal aspects.
As of yet, don't tell Sonny, he'll just start a full blown war.
Knell, ease up geezer. Don't go fucking around in peoples personal business.

Well I'm from a Garage background so not whiling out all the time sort of makes sense... Obviously as you get into it you get lost in the groove but generally in my Garage experiences everyone's pretty chill, smooth, 'slinky' and that. It's a lady thing, you don't want to look like too much of a dick spazzing about lol. Obviously you gotta dance though man, it's all about dancing... Just not throwing yourself around like a nut case!

People like me? As in people who care about the music?
ok
Like one guy said, do what works for you, and if your live performance works great, Im sure if i saw it id probably think it was cool. But personally, i let the music do all the talking for me. Its preference.
sigh... you missed the point twice in a row..
the "like you" comment was not directed at you, in the first place.
i just want people to enjoy themselves on every level, and not just stand up with my thumb up my bum twisting knobs. i got bored of bobbing/dancing very quickly. i like to get involved.
i dont make music for you, or anyone but me and my friends. i started in a garage playing birthday parties and celebrations for my friends. i was asked by a friend to release my stuff, so i did. i will never try to be anyone, or do anything to impress you.
for all i care, ill play to an empty room, completely naked, dropping "Party in the USA" for every other track, and get thrown right back to the garage. i made some money from an invention of mine, so im not interested in the financial side of things. i fund and work on organic farms for a living, because i like to do things my way. music is just where my heart is, and im lucky enough to not have to worry about releases, and so any success/recognition is just frills on an already great experience
because im having fun, no thuggin / flat hat required
i just wanna say, you sound fuckin legit. i got into music for myself too... and honestly i could really give a fuck what anybody with any negative vibes has to say about it. if they like it, awesome.. if they don't, let 'em hate

I'm sorry, but if I saw a dj with lasers attached to his fingers covered in glo paint, only one word would spring to mind- tnuc.
I wouldn't exactly rush to talk to that person or ever go to their shows again. Get involved with the groove but don't make yourself look like an acid house warlock.
If you threw glo paint on me I'd knock you the fuck out.
Oh yeah, I'm 19 from Sheffield. Anything to say?
I think getting that personal makes you look like a proper tool. Basic A is sound, we have disagreed once before however, but I didn't go on his girlfriends myspace and criticise her.
That's just too far mate.

2 Pages had me a little excited. Thanks for those who've contributed to this thread. I don't really have to add though.
And for the record, no one cares what anyone else on the internet thinks, so stop worrying.
