True though eh. Most people I know drink everyday even if only a couple of cans or glasses of their favorite tipple, but it still adds up over the week to be over the recommended allowance. My mum and dad are particularly bad they go through a couple of bottles of whiskey a week and don't see it as a problem at all.
same in NCL where im from mate.
me personaly i only rly drink stlla kronenbourg. erdinger when im feelin adventorous
and hey, sam adams is actually a good beer despite its yankness its my dads weapon of choice

You know that 'light' or 'lite' actually refer to the taste/calorie content of Yank beers and not the alcohol right?
That's actually probably worse, but still...

I grow my own hops and brew my own beer. I've gotten quite accustomed to drinking it at cellar temperature.
That doesn't mean I won't toss back a dozen cold budweisers after work once in a while of course.

I have brewed my own stout with a kit but growing your own hops is impressive. They grow up to about 15 foot, yeah?
My mum makes scrumpy from wind fall apples almost every year, just throws them in a pot with a bit sugar and lets it ferment. It's cloudy, tastes great and hovers around 15% ABV

Yeah they get tall, ten meters if you let them. I keep them trimmed back for ease.
It's rewarding no doubt. Home made is the way forward. Like music, if you can't find what you want... make it yourself.

Some microbreweries in the US actually make quite decent ale.

I went to a microbrewery in Penticton, BC. Wasn't bad, like, but it didn't have the body of English ale, I like my ale to be dark and full bodied. Not a fan of pale ale / IPA. I took away a gallon of peach cider from there too, now that was nice!!
