alot of the best dubstep around right now is being made by producers who have come from the d'n'b scene...their contributions to the scene over the last year or two have been very refreshing and have helped to move things along...Youngsta is by far the best DJ in dubstep and apart from Headhunter, Distance, Cyrus, Skream, Benga, Mala and a couple others his sets over the last year or two have been pretty much all dubs from d'n'b heads...

DJ Fresh, Clipz etc etc are not making dubstep tunes that i'm feeling to be honest but then again i never really liked their d'n'b output so no surprises there...

That would be nice!

I don't reckon you can say 'DnB' people are making bad dubstep. There's a load of real talented producers in DnB, and sure some of them are making some pretty poor generic dubstep just because they want to cash in on the latest 'trend' but there are loads who are putting their producing skills to work and putting out some sick dubstep as well. :)

I don’t really see what’s wrong with forum people being so vocal about D & B producer’s jumping on Dubstep?

It’s better than seeing ‘x’ amount of threads like ‘omg sick tune’ ‘omdyz dubstep dead’

It also IS relevant to the scene? So I don’t see the issue you have?

what ive noticed with some dnb producers dubstep is that it doesnt seem as much time has been put into the percussion, surely coming from dnb they must be pretty good at making complex drum patterns.

Lies! Calibre! Although I do see what you mean though, haven't heard any dnb producers using percussion the way Ramadanman, Shackleton, Mala etc.
The percussion in Diamond dub by Calibre is so good, it may not vary but oh my days

Your clearly still in the "FILTH WOBBLEZ, I NEED A SHWER ARGHHH" stage of the scene then!

i disagree. hes not making shit music, heavyweight was arguably the biggest and best dnb tune of last year. although that said i dont really rate this dubstep tune. and whilst there are alot of dnb artits killing the dubstep scene, i dont think that after hearing this fresh is one of them.

yeah there are exceptions, Martyn for one, and also Benny Page (Satori) and Zero G are making massive dubstep tunes! as well as the ones mentioned above. I swear Seven and Dj Madd produced dnb before dubstep as well
