Eh, it can occasionally be mildly amusing but for every mildly amusing thing there'll likely be 20 others you'll end up wishing you never saw.

I have friends and a whole real planet outside my bedroom window that I would like to explore and be part of, I don't need your shitty immature image board. The worst thing about 4chan is it could have been an interesting experiment into what happens when you take away all rules. But then a bunch of 14 yro's discovered it and its turnt into an inner city autistic school playground.

420 is packed to the brim with elitist aresholes all trying to out-do eachother on who knows more about drugs. It's okay for finding out odd snippets of info, but completely boring and lamentable.

Yeh I find it's a fantastic resource for information and an ok place to voice some of your own opinions and have some general discussion. To be honest I haven't found it to be too full of 'elites' or whatever... I'd say you'd be hard pressed not to come by them on these sort of websites though. 4chan full of internet elites, 420chan with drug elites, etc.. Also I rarely find it boring, thus why I frequent some of its boards. Plenty of interesting junk flying around imo.

I have a good friend who frequents 4chan quite a lot I think. He chats about it quite a lot with another guy I know.
After listening to their weird inside jokes for a while, I tried to go on the site but realised it was mainly inhabited with complete morons, spamming the same jpeg over & over & over again.

This guy is the most socially awkward person ever though so I'll forgive him for using it. Also, he's awesome cause he knows full well he's a social idiot and his humour is basically self-loathing dialogue

I wonder what the average /b/ dubstep listener listens to (my guess is circus records stuff)

From my experience with them on last.fm most of them listen to the baitest stuff from every genre. Stuff you'd expect people who have just been introduced to a genre to listen too. Although there are a few who have exceptional taste in metal that goes past core metal and Burzum.

This. 4chan memes ruin every other forum I've ever been on, lets make keep this one legit :(

For those who don't know /B/ is, I think, a term used to describe a paradoxical psychological phenomenon wherein hostages express adulation and have positive feelings towards their captors that appear irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims.

No no, Stockholm Syndrome is a term used to describe a paradoxical psychological phenomenon wherein hostages express adulation and have positive feelings towards their captors that appear irrational in light of the danger or risk endured by the victims. You're thinking of Stockholm Syndrome.
