Im right here with you man ive been smoking 4 years as well a pack a day since then. Im completely over this shit. Ive "quit" a few times, each for 2 days only smoking 2-3 in a day. I was proud of this lol, any way id say the best way to go is cold turkey, to be honest i wouldnt know. Ive looked into patches and that new inhaler nicorette put out but that stuff takes weeks and costs some. It is hard for me to stop cold turkey i live with the family, they smoke a pack a day as well, inside the house. The only way I really bond with them is eating dinner and the cigarette after where we spend time talking together. I think you can do it man! If you have temptations like this but think about this. Addiction is a subconcious disease where your subconcious mind feels as if it needs these things. If you can convince the part of the mind that helps you breathe by yourself (subconcious) that you dont need them and the craving is over maybe that wil help you. I mean i havent tried it but if you read something on the subconcious mind, you can control it by practicing, it just takes control and programming. But i wish you great luck on this man and i really hope you start smoking.

Drown in lung fluid
with a tumour the size of a football protruding from your back
you selfish shit, inflicting that sight on your loved ones.
Pray to Hui and wake up to yourself.

Pray to Hui and wake up to yourself.
Taste your breath, smoke filled lungs
Burning rooms with your body.
These roads will last a lifetime,
With your hopes in ruins,
Its not too late to find yourself,
New life intention.
The pulse of life is fading,
Smoke filled and hazy,
We will strive on,
Forwards in motion.
^ those are the lyrics that will help me quit.

maybe one of them fancy electronic cigarette thingamajigs?
then you can smoke wherever you want!!
not sure how much they cost to buy and refill, but there's no way they're as bad or worse than combustible dried plant material..

I tried one of those in the mall one time...it's stupid...they have been out for like alittle over a year now and I've never seen anybody with it.
Oh, by the way....I'm still going strong...it's been like 32 hours.

Ive decided to quit cigarettes and weed in time for my 29th birthday (11th May)......
Ive smoked weed pretty much very single day since I was 18 so Its time to call it a day I reckon.
Its been 4 days since my last spliff and 7 days since my last cigarette. Its gonna be a hard slog.
