my standard, if slightly rough, response to these queries:

work harder & get organized. sounds like you've got a bunch of questions-- get a notebook, write 'em down, keep track of the answers you get.

or, alternatively, plug away at it. I invoke this alot, but there's plenty of interviews where skream, mala, loefah etc discuss their working habits when they were just starting- they were FIENDS, all-night sessions, asking tons of questions, going out, bending people's ears, taking tons and tons of stuff in.

there's no silver bullet, there's not 1-stop easy answer...and there shouldn't be, the process of making music and being a musician is a lifelong journey of discovery.

so... shut off DSF and get to work!

Thanks for the responses guys. I dont know how some of you got i was not enjoying the process of learning and writing as i said specifically i was near the bottem of my post :) my only point was i was not happy with the rate at which my tunes were progressing. i very much enjoy learning about anything production or music related now. since learning production ive taken a keen interest in learning anything musical. something i was not at all interested in prior to this.

anyway thanks for the words of advice and i will just keep pluggin away at it :)

You sound like your really trying to rush into learning, and you want EVERYTHING NOW!!!. Trust me, it takes mote then 6 months to become decent. More like 4 years to become amazing (Banana bomber is an exception ;) )

Even producers who have been working for 10+ years are still learning new tricks. So basically... Stop being impatient and enjoy the learning process.
To be honest your coming off as being quite frustrated with your current level. As us British people say... "Keep calm, and carry on"
Ha big up bruv :)
