I had a strange bro/ho issue once...I'll tell the story

My first 2 years of college - back around @92-93

I had a best friend who was male - he stayed at my house all the time
slept on my couch, in my bed - we did everything together

only it was 100% non-intimate - completely platonic

...he said he liked asian girls so...

I had a crush on him - right - I wouldn't have kept him around if I didn't like him..
Well, towards the end of those 2 years I decided to put the moves on him..

I tried for exactly a week..aggressivly tried to mess with him - he wasn't havin' it..

so I stopped

- about a month or so later, we went to this big rave for my birthday and I met my next serious boyfriend...
Mani went freakin' crazy - he was starting verbal altercations with the guy whenever he was around..
He was tellin him that he better not fuck with me and all kinds of crazyness...

Then one day he went completely bonkers and disappeared for like 2 months...

He had another melt down later that summer and was screaming that he was all alone and stuff...


What was I supposed to do - wait around for years till he decided to be with me?

It's really hard to tell a flirt from fucking about when you've been buddies (especially livin together) forever, best thing you could have done is talk to him about it really.. afterall it seemed mutual

Hoes before bros, but be respectful to the bro and talk to him about it before you make any definite moves. If he's truly a bro, he would understand, but keeping silent and just going for it is kinda disrespectful.

That's what I'm about, at least. Women will always be a sensitive issue so they should be discussed as such.
