Does anybody else notice how there's an extra eighth note added to the bottom of the drum fills at 1:49, 3:10 and 4:31?

If you don't know what I mean, try bobbing your head to the tune and you'll "skip" a beat at those parts in the song. Maybe cookie added that to the internet version to fuck w/ the mixing of people who rip youtube videos and play them out haha

I don't get how people think shrill noises cause hearing loss. Loud shrill noises, sure...

Are you feeble minded?

Commonplace doesn't mean generic. Commonplace means frequently encountered.

Generic means not unique.

the fact that you think it's not unique is because everybody uses it, no?

Yes. I think a while ago, there were certain producers such as Distance and Coki who were using LFOs to their own unique effect. Now, 'dubstep' may as well be known as 'LFO music.' Every fool who comes along and decides they want to make dubstep goes to Fruity Loops, puts down a 'boom.....tcchht......boom......tcchht' beat and sets some directionless wobbly noise over the top. That's what I mean by 'generic.' That's exactly what Cookie Monsta does in every single track. Deserves a slap.

lol . that's like saying heavy metal might aswell be called "distorted guitar music" - he's just making the music he likes - if ya don't like it, don't listen to it, it's that simple.

Guitars are essential to metal music. LFOs are not essential to dubstep music.

There was a time when each producer had their own sound; apart from the tempo and bass, anything went. Now, everybody is trying to make the same thing (and the 'same thing' happens to be an arsehole.)

Anyway, this argument has taken place millions of times and it's pointless.

yeah, agree to disagree on this one I recon - dubstep doesn't need a wobble, plenty of folks have proved that - but there are still some that like the wobble and some that don't - done.
