FM7,
I find it has more warmth than the newer FM8

dude, massive. it does it all, and so easily, with some much allowance for creativity where other synths seem to just aim to stump the uninitiated.

I'm kind of torn between alchemy, massive, and albino3. I like z3ta and circle as well. I really dig the layout of alchemy though. It has so many possibilities. I love massive's wavetables and routing. I like the depth of albino3. Z3ta would be more of my go to if it had retrigger on the lfo... Circle is nice but doesn't have the correct legato that I like. I sampled the wavetables from Circle and lots of them from massive and loop them with Alchemy for the win.

Operator and synplant

Operator is awesome for making the sounds I like quick (love how you make wave forms), and synplant is just fuckin' kool as shit to play with (not always practical, but I get sounds that I wouldn't normaly create).

then again i can't even get my micron to update properly. i'm using my axiom as a midi interface (as it is advertised as a midi controller/interface). fuck real world midi.

Right now, the demo of circle. Lots and lots of resampling though.

Whats going on here?

Is there no Absynth heads? Absynth has made all my other synths redundant, the rest of them barely get a look in these days.

Alchemy and Massive are my current winning combo... twin2 is not bad either!

Dood I'll tell you flat out, I don't understand Absynth. And I've never really had a desire to learn because I've never been intrigued by any of it's presets.

====

On another note, people always repping alchemy, post up some bits made with alchemy and lets here it. Any big name sounds made with alchemy, I'd like to hear it in action?

I've used Alchemy, Massive and twin2 for all the synth sounds on the track in my sig (Music).

Alchemy can be heard on it's own at 1:17 and 2:42 (or thereabouts)

I'm still only scratching the surface of it but it seems the best featured out of the 3. You can load your own waveforms, samples loops whatever and use them as oscillators. I don't think there's a limit to the number of lfos, envelopes, etc you can have. And you can draw your own custom lfo shapes in, either running free or synced to tempo...

I'm still exploring it but i've no doubt someone who really knows there shit with synthesis could pull out some incredible sounds with it!
