I and no-one else hates any genre of music - i just don't get it
to say any style or genre is shit is very arrogant and ignorant
his style and other similar styles are purely for entertainment purposes, they are all about the "reaction" not the eyes down type shizz

He's pretty big where I live, most people I know who are familiar with dubstep can name like, borgore, rusko, datsik, and excision and that's about it. I would definitely say on the scale of making it and not making it in the small(ish) music scene known as dubstep borgore has definitely "made it".fractal wrote:step off his dick, buddy, no ones even attacking the guyand i wouldn't say he's "making it big"rinseballs21 wrote:ok i understand, but while you may not understand his style, their are thousands out there who do and enjoy listening to borgore and other hype artistsluthervandub wrote:hate is to strong a word and is overused

there's truly only a handful of artists who have "made it big" in this
and that's not really on a huge scale, itself
yeah, i guess in terms of a sub genre of a sub genre's small "scene" he has made it, but in terms of the actual music industry, he's about as well known as mt eden... i mean burial is one of the most acclaimed artist in the dubstep realm, he's been nominated for mercury's and all that, yet the number of people who know about him, on a real scale- not just within this tiny scene, is pretty small. Skream & Benga are pretty big names, have they made it? guess it's all subjectivehoney-d wrote:He's pretty big where I live, most people I know who are familiar with dubstep can name like, borgore, rusko, datsik, and excision and that's about it. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more but those are the handful of songs I'm familiar with that he raps in. Enjoy

The fuck's up with that?
He's on Mad Decent, which pretty much dwarfs any dubstep label in the EDM world, and gettin canned on a regular basis by Diplo and company whos is pretty much a king maker these days.honey-d wrote:Oh defo on the big picture of the music industry and even just EDM he hasn't scratched the surfacefractal wrote:
