Ooooft don't even get me started on this shit. I'll never be able to stop.

I'm close to having every single UR record bar the new ones (because they're a bit shit), Pirahnha, and the Z tracks of course.

Pre-Jaguar, one of the top 5 labels in history without a doubt.

That's not Mad Mike Banks, it's Robert Hood. He was one of the core members of UR alongside Jeff Mills and Mad Mike, and MC'd with the group under the guise of Rob Noise. There's an old UR hip-house record with him MCing on it. I'm sure it's his vocals that are all over the Revolution for Change album.

You wouldnt catch Mad Mike in press shots without his mask on.

I met Mad Mike Banks at an Ele_mental party in Columbus, Ohio in 1997.

That guy is super nice and super awesome. :) I was a young DJ (had only been on the decks a couple of years), and he was really encouraging and awesome.

That was probably one of the most amazing moments of my life, honestly.

After that, we talked about baseball. :)

My favorites have always been Base Camp Alpha 808 (Final Frontier EP) and Eye of the Storm (Sonic EP). And then there are also Mad Mike's lovely house tunes on Happy Records. This thread made me dig deep into my collection again. Nice inspiration! Wonderful music.
