but Jim Jarmusch makes films like Ghost Dog and permanent vacation, not painfully-generic, craptastic wobblefest dubstep that'll have a gnatfly's attention for 4.3 nanoseconds.

If yr gonna steal, at least make something the world hasn't had yet. DJ Shadow rather than eurotrance covers of 80s songs, etc.

i disagree with everything you just said,
explore all avenues and make all kinds of sounds you want... and yes source and steal anything you want as well...

how you market or disperse your work to others is what you are referring to above. There is never a reason to not explore or create absolutely ANYTHING.
