He thought the interviewer asked the question, "is German for basketball" which is a grammatical nightmare, and thus confused the shit out of him. He didn't hear the proper question, which was "Is Bieber the German word for basketball". The little shit's issue is that he doesn't listen to people because he has his head stuck up his ass.

Then he threw Americans under the bus by saying "we don't say German in America." But we do. That makes him a liar. And he's from Canada.
