Gabber's easiest of all to me. 200 bpm of straight kicks? Word, I can tell when I'm off very soon and correct it while matching.

I'm new to this whole DJ thang, though... but... if you pitch up the dnb to 185 bpm, shouldn't that actually be the equivalent of 6/8 in 140 bpm? 140/3 = 45. 140 + 45 = 185. Plenty of hardstep approaches that tempo as it is..

Why am I wrong here if I may ask?

Dunno, to me it's noisy as fuck in the headphones.

Guess it's a matter of getting used to, I produce breakcore and gabber so I don't really hear noise. o.o Try something like Detest? His kicks are pretty clean. Or I:gor...

It's not that it's just noise to me. It's just sounds noisey when you got proper crazy shit going on in both of the the headphones. Plus I buy shit that's all over the place tempo wise.

Defo, theres nothing worse than mixing into/out of a choon you know inside out, and mixing in a new tune and it not dropping in the right place due to the phrasing.
