I would really like to remix this. These guys have released the full 24 track stems from two songs from this album, but not this song. Apparently there was protest from Muslim peoplez over the use of the Qu'ran in a work of art, which is verboten, so probably no stems for this track. :( It's at 137 and everything... I would love to remix this.

that tnuc journo misquoted him. he clearly stated he invented dub-bass. he was probably on drugs anyway. if i was rich and famous i'd be on drugs all the time and i'd be talking complete bullshit 100% of the time. when you become famous (ie. when people start to notice and care about you and your opinion) you become better than most people so you don't need to worry what they think of your personal beliefs.

If you listen to some of the early stuff he did with Alliyah or however you spell it, he was the first that I recall doing double tempo drums at the end of every 8 bar section. But that doesn't really have much to do with dubstep lol.

hey, i love how he described it, "It’s funny cos they went back to some of my old music that really created that sound and just, instead of going fast, they went slow with more bass." uh, baby, you're kode9 in Dub Echoes, aren't you?

let's claim. i created goa trance, hardstyle, and trance. yeah!

hip hop producers are always talking shit, but he has sort of a point (even though he's wrong)

e.g. this track could definitely be a dubstep track if you took out JT

So what we can gather is:

1. Timbaland didn't invent dubstep.

2. Timbaland didn't say he invented dubstep.

3. Timbaland's music had an enormous influence on dubstep.

Bon Jovi invented the mid range formant wobbly sound that is used a lot in dubstep today.
starts at 0:23 seconds in.

And THAT is what people don't realize, right there.

When he grabs the mic and spins around and looks into the camera. Literally a piece of shit fell out of my ass that shit was so funny.
