nope. which part do you mean?
is it similar? i'll have to listen to midnight request line again.
as a general rule i wouldn't sample a dubstep tune to make more dubstep.
id feel like the dubstep p.diddy or something.
that little arpeggio bit I was talking about, wouldnt have bothered me either way.

I appreciate the re-up on the 320
for some reason I didn't snag it (maybe cuz my comp was jacked up).
I was gonna be sad if I couldn't get it again

Tapioca: Nice intro. Wicked synths. But the bass i way to weak unfortunately. Some claps seem louder than other, like too much stereo buss compressor.
Drums could do with some more low end "oomph".
Cloud Nine: Again, really nice intro. Nice atmospheres etc. Vocal samlpe a bit too low, I reckon. Bass is much better mixed here.

But it doesn´t seem to "fit" perfectly in the mix. Not too sure how to explain it.
In general a new mix would work wonders for both tunes - could turn out to be stomping tunes, mate. Bless!

yeah mixing is still a somewhat mysterious animal to me. in tapioca im sure your referring to the hi part of the bass as the sub is plenty loud.
but yeah all i really do is use my ears. cut as many frequencys as i can on each sound so the mix isn't muddy, then increase/decrease volume till i like it.
i know what you mean though thanx for the feedback.
Been playing these:)
