Yep, you've definitely hit on some of the major artists here. I personally like the "second wave" artists best...

To add to your list:
-All Purpose Maker records on Axis
-Robert Hood Moveable Parts vol 1. (my secret weapon) on m-plant !!!!
-Suburban Knight stuff is dope
-early DJ Hell (yes he's German, but some of his tracks are very "Detroit)
(a lot of early stuff on Tresor is absolutely "Detroit")
-Red Planet (label)
-UR
-Metroplex
-John Acquaviva
-...ETC.

That's such a top list of tunes. So much Juan Atkins in there. He is a legend though. Night Drive through babylon is amazing. anybody who hasn't heard that should check it out immediately.

Here's my "Detriot in all but location" 5:

Kraftwerk - It's More Fun to Computer / Numbers
Quadrant - Q1.1 (Basic Channel)
Martin Circus - Disco Circus (heavy electronic disco, sampled on The Throw, amongst other things)
Dave Clarke - Red One
Telex - Moscow Disko (they were the Russian Kraftwerk)

Awesome tunes mentioned so far. A couple that have slipped through the net:
Rhythim is Rhythim - Nude Photo
Reese and Santonio - The Sound

Specific mention for Seawolf by UR too... badness.
