because magnetic man have gone mainstream with style and class, whereas rusko just put out a bunch of cheese. all that talkbox bullshit is barely music. the production values of magnetic man are next level. i genuinly tried listening to rusko's album. i really like 'hold on', the rest i cant even tollerate.heymanman wrote:i dont get why rusko gets flamed for poppin mainstream tunes out on O.M.G. then this tune gets so much love?
katy b's voice is alright, nothing too special. imo.
liek the benga track with her in it tho, its catchy, which makes it kinda gay too, like this song. its gay.
thanks for the response, their are some other quality tunes on OMG, not a lot, but some. I like their styles separately more than this Magnetic Man trio. It could grow on me, we'll see, it just seems like these tunes with katy b are hypedTRNSPLNT wrote:because magnetic man have gone mainstream with style and class, whereas rusko just put out a bunch of cheese. all that talkbox bullshit is barely music. the production values of magnetic man are next level. i genuinly tried listening to rusko's album. i really like 'hold on', the rest i cant even tollerate.heymanman wrote:i dont get why rusko gets flamed for poppin mainstream tunes out on O.M.G. then this tune gets so much love?

No soul?! when you say soul, what is it you're referring to? Most of Magnetic Man's stuff is jam packed with soul.heymanman wrote:thanks for the response, their are some other quality tunes on OMG, not a lot, but some. Been at it long enough, they deserve it.gradiate wrote:Just like the Grime artists I think the boys want to make some paper, don't blame them.
To put it better, be given the resources to make some amazing music. Albeit some will be shit but, well, I'm sure Perfect Stranger speaks for itself.gradiate wrote:MM album is signed to a major so you are always going to get it being more mainstream.
