http://senduit.com/020202
one of the most well know detroit drum n bass dj's matt clarke has been rinsing dubstep lately and I know me and charius are addicted.
hard for shit to pop off in this town though. people are very hard headed when it comes to electronic music around here. more people are starting to listen though. well see...

Alternatively i could just continue to listen to the new Peverelist 12"
or we could just figure out how to ressurect James Stinson and have a proper aquatically delicious Drexciyan take on dubstep

Kode 9 - Magnetic City
Dj Abstract - Touch
Skream - 2D
seems as close as we have come
perhaps someone has heard Mad Mike - Chaos & Order
in my opinion that is a UR dubstep tune, mixes perfectly with Neverland

yes, that's me, will be putting something like that together soon, takes quite a lot of thought though so I tend to just roll out straight dubstep mixes these days

If anyone is coming into town for the
http://www.demf.com/ I am planning on playing only a few dubstep tunes on Monday at the begining or end of the drum n bass set. Im followed by the mighty Gridlok, Mampi Swift, and Evol Intent.
If you want to get a fix, these are some afters that Im playing some dubstep at.
Saturday: at 1515 Broadway, I dont know my slot yet but Im second on the bill behind Dj Skurge (Underground Resistance) so it should be at a good time.
Sunday: Soundmurderer (Rewind) and myself are tag-teaming some dubstep along with new and old drum n bass. Thats happening at the Labriynth. I think we are running the 2am-5am slot.
Without sounding like Im begging for loose change. New tunes are always welcome
www.myspace.com/mattclarke . I try to stay busy in Detroit, one offs/ internet shows/ college radio/ etc.

I was hopin that I would come across some dubstep at DEMF or the afterparties. I'm always lookin to meet more midwest dubsteppas so I can potentially get you to come to Chicago to support our budding scene. Can't wait to RAVE for 3 days straight!
