hi guys, sorry none of the Mods have spoken about this yet - we've been busy with other matters.....

We'll take your thoughts into consideration - we're always looking for ways to improve the forum for you guys.

My personal thoughts on the matter are actually that the more you split a forum up, the less traffic each subforum gets - as there's less 'passing traffic' to click on threads they wouldn't normally look at.

but yes, we could split the Audio forum into Mixsets and Tunes - the only problem then is that we will get people either posting their shit in the wrong forum, or even worse in both - making much more work for the Moderators for parts of the forum which aren't that busy.

Give us a week or two to discuss and I'll come back to you. :4:

have stickied this thread for a while so y'all can suggest anything else you'd like.

Think it'd be better to split the Audio forum really - mixes and dubs. This way people that are looking for sets got a one step port of call, and dj's looking for new tunes have the same. Otherwise it all blurs into a mess and tunes get lost without trace
Hmm....

totally see where you're coming from, and I agree that it does get messy. Splitting the Audio forum like you're suggesting would definitely make things easier from a user's point of view.

Like I say though, we might potentially some people posting stuff in more than one place, creating much more for the Mods. We could tackle this issue by having one or two special 'Audio Mods' to police the Audio forum and keep it tidy.

Work in progress, keep the suggestions coming. :4:

Think this was already happening. Some tunes get posted in Production where everyone tells them to stick them in audio, and then when the tunes get missed in audio people post them back here again. Keeping production for works in progress only might help of course.

Not to mention stuff occassionally getting posted in the main forum.

Would like to make it easy for the mods too though, seeing as your doing all this in your free time - much appreciated :D
Hmm....
