Re: What do you do....
I got stranded for my birthday this January in a dump little village, on my birthdy got perilled out so went and bought a railcard (top tip to get one the day before you're 26 then you can rinse it for another year) and bailed down to London... Hooked up wi' my bro and a few people he knew then dossed it proper. I like doing that kinda thing with people I don't know too well anyway. A lot of classic old mates have a tendancy to turn-their-smiles-upside-down spontaneously then cripple a night with negativity
Best ting is not to waste oppurtunities; in the long run, nostalgia is the ultimate drug, so does wonders to bosh yearly milestones into the bank for later life when you're married to a fat ugly bird working 9-5 and deaf from producing dubstep

Plus alcohol. Basicly, I fucking hate this commercial fidget house crap thing that's so overly popular in Belgium. But when I'm fucking drunk I at least can listen to it without rageing.

Do what I did yesterday, just get a few people to come over for some beers. Twas the best way to celebrate being 21herbalicious wrote:On your Birthday when none of your friends like the same music as you, you're turning 25 and don't particularly feel like it's something to celebrate, you've left it too late to plan anything big or exciting, and you don't particularly like any of your friends that much anyway?
Serious answers only please.
Well...I use the term 'serious' lightly.
Re: What do you do....
i'm 33 on 5 August. i have to work. i don't have any friends. there's a female co-worker i go out with sometimes, but she's morally bankrupt and trashy like everyone else i meet. my best friend doesn't talk to me any more because he's insecure about his sexuality. he'd rather look hard for his gutter friends than have me around making him look gay. what do you do? i'd say get drunk/high and sleep as much as possible. it always works for me.

That seems to be a hobby of mine too. Then again we don't have any clubs like Plastic People around.herbalicious wrote:I also tend to spend much of my time in clubs/bars wishing they were in fact other club/bars. Namely, Plastic People.

Re: What do you do....
you lot complaining about Plastic People should try living in West Virginia. the biggest club night we've had all summer was Bubba Sparxxx! SERIOUS! but at least that place actually had someone using CDJs rather than a touch screen jukebox or Traktor on a laptop.
Re: What do you do....
If you can work Traktor right, it'll still sound good.brent wrote:you lot complaining about Plastic People should try living in West Virginia. the biggest club night we've had all summer was Bubba Sparxxx!
