This.

It's not just atheists and christians that contain dumb zealots. Every single grouping of people in the world has this, without a doubt.

absence of faith in God isn't the same as having a "religion" or a dogmatic set of beliefs.

is it possible to not be an atheist, but not have to believe in any of these retarded religions?

i dont think everythings gunna be nothing when i die, and i think theres definately something more then a big bang to create this... everything

maybe there is a god but its definately not how any religions describe it to be

you might be a deist, pantheist, spiritualist, or some other -ist. or you might be nothing. seems like your beliefs are mainly negative though (as in NOT nothing after death, NOT just a big bang, etc.). negative theology?

Could've answered it in one word.

"Agnosticism."

i thought being agnostic was like oh shit yeah youre right thats exactly what it is.

but i wouldnt say its negative veiws, its completely positive, its fuckin exiting, life is the most interesting thing and its always going to continue to amaze me. i just find alot of people become quite stubborn, unnacepting of other views when they folow another religion (unless something life changing happens)

they are all up for debate but will rarely actually change their views.

yeah i didn't mean negative in any evaluative sense, just negative as in defined by a negation of currently held beliefs (like belief in the afterlife, belief in the big bang). you haven't really said what you believe, just what you DON'T believe, that's all i meant by negative, it could still be a "positive" outlook.

well thats the thing, i dont know what to believe in.

i believe that there is something far more to life then we know, but i am not the one to say what it is, and i dont feel any other religion is either.
