Why would a producer need to know about the roots of Dubstep? If someone makes tracks and people consume and enjoy them what's the problem? If you don't like it don't listen to it or go to the events. Very simple stuff. There's no need to get your knickers in a twist about what other people are listening to. The worst thing about Dubstep and DSF is this unnecessary sense of elitism that some people try to bring.

I'm not tryin to be an elitist i'm just sayin theres too many nights in manny that are pushin that same midrange wobble sound..i don't mind some of it but a majority is terrible and gives dubstep a bad name, I think alot of these new listeners probably don't know that bass and low frequencies are the main parts of dubstep

Well being a very student city I suppose for a lot of them they're new to it and they're just out for a laugh. Nowt wrong with that. I personally love the Circus Records sound, Dubstep's root conventions don't enter into my head when I'm out and going for it.

Like to say thanks to all the Positive comments that people have said here, negative side i'm not a prick and neither is any of the just skank team

We are nice with everybody that comes into Just Skank and hope you see different if you ever come into the night, its a great night, the venue is good for dubstep, and yep everybodys up for it when they come in and we hope you will enjoy it too.

Aye will have to agree with pete on this one, we arnt pricks at all, and everyone who does come down to a justskank is having a great time there ! As for booking other things other than the tear-out we do try cater for all parts of dubstep .

One of my personal favourite's CYRUS is headlining the next one ! Come check it out, and hope your views will be different
