I take it you didn't see the 2003, 2004 or 2005 lineup then (or the years before that). Last year was
alright but this year it's just not on the mark

in my opinion they've been shit since 2005. I prefer this year to last years cos I had already seen most of the bands I wanted to.
Once again anyone need tickets day or weekend let me no!

I want to get on one of the smaller ones next year, only managed to reach hop farm for dylan this year. I read in the paper that Green Man has never had a single reported crime (compared to 800 in a weekend at V).. either its a pretty chilled place or theyve got some next level police state set up.

Been meaning to reach Greenman for a while now.
Being a mainly folk music festival its probably full of flat out hippies and stoners so everyone is on good chilled out vibes ha. Plus I still kick myself for not going last year and missing out on Bon Iver

It's full of kids who can't handle their beer, have no respect or consideration for others at the festival, the way the organisers lay it out is a pain in the arse. You're treated like cattle and you get herded to different areas of the campsite etc. I have always preferred the smaller crustier festivals to what is essentially a long gig in a field with some overpriced bad food and beer

Not a couple of years ago, everyone was on a right vibe! Everything is overpriced though, so why not just go prepared? Last year was dire on the herding though, there were some guys with SIA licenses pretending to be security and harassing the fuck out of people

pretty much the only reason i go is because im a local. theres nothing else to do other than the music. they put no effort into things like decoration and that. its full of wanky teenagers with rich parents. the majority of the music is shite. and ends stupidly early. leaving a load of drunk people with nothing to do... and they wonder why there is violence and riots. (although the riots can be quite jokes).
But when your a local the things a goldmine. you can break in and it doesnt matter if you get kicked out. you can buy/sell tickets for £ happilly all day long. murk off the drugs ting. its ripe for the picking.

I was at reading. Really disappointed by magnetic mans set, too much wobble for my liking and a load of kids moshing.
I lost all the respect I had for rusko as well. I left after a couple of minutes of his set after hearing a remix of katy perry.

I know about 20 people that went this year and they all said that they hated it. They felt intimidated and scared by most people on the site and ended up not going to see any music because they didn't feel safe. Apparently the music was shit too.

I went to Leeds for the first time this year. Saw a few decent bands (highlights being Arcade Fire, Mumford & Sons & Fourtet) but it was just so shit compared to Glastonbury. I would not have gone if I hadn't have had a free ticket and i definitely could never have brought myself to sleep in the main campsite. Those toilets were pure rank.
And yeah, nothing to do whatsoever if there are no bands on that you want to see or the bands have finished. Glastonbury on the other hand, there was almost too much to do! There wasn't a minute of that festival where i wasn't having the time of my life

truck has such a great friendly atmosphere. really rate that festival, and everything is reasonably priced and organic/home grown etc and run by the rotary club!
