BTW as a tip, be clever when you buy plugs, you often get free vouchers, and various plugins are discounted each month, so unless youre desperate wait for a deal on what youre interested in. You get a 14 day demo for all of them, and you can get another trial if you ask ua (within reason). If you want any advice, let me know what sort youre interested in (eq/compressor/filter/delay etc).

My personal highlights are the re201 delay (incredible), emt140/plate140 reverb (best reverb ive ever heard), 1073 eq (gloriously silky eq, but quite dsp heavy, you also get a dsp lite version which is the same but no oversampling), LA2A compressor (awesome compressor for everything but drums, like a hand turning up and down as requested) and 88rs (very dsp light, can run loads on just one uad1, eq, comp, gate and filters all in one). But theres loads of other amazing ones, be warned theyre like crack!

Cool man. Just chekcing you saw my earlier posts; I dont have a full UAD box for the other pci. No problem, its just a large empty box, and ill ensure its well wrapped and packaged, esp if its going to the us.

I got the transfer request approved by UA as well so you should be ready to go. Install the latest software from the UA site, install the card and then dl the authorisations. You should get full 14day demos of all the plugins.

Still got 1xpci and 1xpcie to go. Roll up roll up etc.

Dza - first thing you should do is try inserting the pultec eq. Just turning it on and off has a pleasant effect. Me macc and others have all discussed this at length on subvertcentral

The uad 2 quad is bad ass man i don't think i've come to maxing that out in a project yet. Are you up for starting a tips and tricks thread for uad users Para? I got some nice little tips if anyone's interested.

ive got a duo and a quad now, and loads of the plugs

The Manley and the fatso wreck dsp.

Prob with ua is its sooo easy to get something good there arent really any tips. Just buy em all
