*loads shotgun*
C'mon with the passive agressive bullshit. Fock off. Give us something to work with beaside this crap loading your metaphorical forum shotgun.

LOL Mt. Eden though... c'mon son.
What the fuck does he know...guys been listening to dubstep for a day...comes to the site and leaves cause people start razzing him...that's one less person supporting the scene. If you think Mt.Eden is garbage, give him something to listen to that's better in your opinion.
One more for ya.

Type dubstep into youtube and you'll see why. Any newb is most likely going to start their search by typing dubstep in youtube and listening to whatever they find.

This. This is the sole reason his tunes are so popular and the reason my Mt. Eden is the first Dubstep alot of people hear. YOu can't be angry with them! Soon enough they'll come across and appreciate better music.

Well...
Thanks to everyone who posted constructive thoughts on some dubstep! I'm in the process of listening to all of the suggestions.
As for all the people who seem to think it's cool to make fun of someone who has been listening to this stuff for a full day and a half, you're just silly. I like Mt. Eden! Oh goodness!!! Gasp!
Grow up.

How and why is it mainly Mt Eden that gets peoples attention turned to dubstep?? i have never understood this because his music is shite, it must be purely because he has over a million views when u type in 'dubstep'. hes just clever at making tags on youtube i guess

Or because all of his tunes are remixes of other popular tunes...they all sound the same to me imo, but they are catchy to someone who's never heard dubstep before.

If you really like Mt. Eden you'll probably dislike most of the suggestions on here. I'd give Phigure's list a try
though, it's all good.

I'm not exclusive to Mt. Eden or anything. I just said that I like them. Actually, I dig most of what I've heard so far from this list.

Burial has got some sick tunes, make sure you check out some.
There is geometry in the humming of the strings, there is music in the spacing of the spheres.

By the way, you wont understand Burial at first. I know i was certainly confused when everyone on this forum would give a limb for the guy and all i heard was ambient noise
But i have repented my previous ways, burial is just chill; enjoy it
