I feel like that. Some of my stuff is half decent I think but I don't want to make a soundcloud account with a shitty producer name either.

Make tunes to a higher standard
Better mixdowns
Not get halfway throught a tune, get bored and finish it for the sake of finishing it

1.Get production level better than everyone else.

2.Get a good label after my tunes.

3.Get some DJ's I am into/respect playing my tunes.

Funny thing is you'll progress quicker by showing others and getting some constructive criticism :)

Haha, I know, you're totally right... perfectionism is not good for music.

I think it's because I've been doing this a lot longer than many people who are miles ahead of me, like I expect people to go "wtf that's all you can do after this length of time?".

I'm a late bloomer I tell ya

Don't really see what the difference between milestones and achievements is, in this context. But - got my first release coming up later this year, on vinyl. Getting it mastered at D&M which should be pretty fun.

Reaching 1000 plays on my soundcloud was a big achievement for me.

Got over 2000 plays on my soundcloud
Got 30 fans on my facebook page lol
Got two of my songs in mixes in the first couple of months of producing which was awesome

To Do:
Finish the last song for my free EP, get the artwork done for it and name the EP then its ready to be released
Get my mixdowns better for each song I finish
Would really like to get my tunes signed
Earn more money so I can buy some decks and start learning how to DJ at some point
Learn guitar and bass

Done:
Having the opportunity to work with an old school mix engineer and mixing tracks purely out of the box on a large console with outboard reverbs + delays. Playing in automation/ panning live using the faders.

To do:
Start acquiring the equipment and knowledge to do all of the above myself by the end of the year!

Good plan! Loved your tracks btw. Really enjoyed it!
Yeah I do a lot of mixing on my universities Desk and outboard. Make a big 'human' difference.
I even made a 5.1 surround sound trip-hop track on it and was the most fun Ive had in ages. :)

2. When I have a release to myself rather than individual tracks on compilations (cough, cough) 8)
