why pay monthly for XIV when you can just play VII repeatedly until you die?

CoH is PC and Mac, no consoles. It's been running 5 years now, so there's a fair amount to it. They release a new free expansion 3 times a year. There have been 2 paid expansions so far - one to allow people to play villains, and the other was Going Rogue. The amount of character customisation options are billion miles away from anything else in existence. Most of my mates have at one point or another happily just sat there for hours creating the ultimate costume for their superheroes.trying a ting wrote:kay wrote:If that doesn't work out, give City of Heroes a shot. The recent new expansion (Going Rogue) was amazing - some next level story arcs where you have to make some serious moral choices (e.g. terrorism vs dictatorship).trying a ting wrote:i'm hyped about dc universeyyeeaa

i have'nt heard that much about city of heroes. pc only right? the draws of dc universe are mad to me tho. i really like that it is going to be on ps3 for one although i hear it's going to be like £15 a month![]()

also the prospect of having my own individual charachter in that universe is mouthwatering cos i try to keep up with the story's (big up flash lol)
saying that tho i won't invest too much because when it's crap i'll be slightly heart broken lol
thanks man
Also, there is a mission scripting engine where you can design and upload your own story arcs for other people to play, which I think is also unique for MMORPGs.

Every FF game after 9 was cantankerous corporate waste. They aren't seeing a single penny of my money after the complete wank fest that was FF10
