Thanks man! Glad you're feeling the melody in the intro and the breakdown, the 'hooks', atmosphere/feeling and musicality are some of the main things I focus on :) Sorry to hear you're not feeling the bass tone though!

Will leave some feedback for you on the cloud!

@chris mack I like it, but I feel like you could've done a better job with the wobble rate variation.

Good vibe, the vocals sit in the mix really well and fit the style of the song. I wouldn't filter the bass so much and maybe change the sound up every now and then with a different more gritty bass; if you're going to make that the focal point of the song you gotta keep it constantly interesting and really make it stand out. just my 2 cents though!!

I feel like the track never reaches a climactic point. It's very progressive and sounds really good, the mix is great and that bass pulse that swoops in and out every couple bars is awesome. But throughout the whole track I'm waiting for it to build up and drop into this massive grimey bass (at least thats what I'm waiting for), maybe try changing it up a bit at some point because for 4+ minutes it stays the same a lot. good work though

This isn't exactly a new track, it's the first one I ever did from earlier this year but none of my tracks have ever really been reviewed or commented on so I thought I'd start posting them around to see what people thought.

The mix isn't great, pretty muddy and repetitive, but let me know what you think.

It seems that quite a few sounds are clashing with each other. I think you should try to fix the mixdown

Here's a track I finished recently. I waited for the september thread on purpose, because i figured no one would give me feedback on the old one! :(
Anyway, this is a remix i did of a killer track by my mate Chinamode.
Please leave honest feedback, I rather have you guys hating on this track than saying it's awesome. Unless you think it's awesome. Yeah...I think you guys get my drift

Cheers to everyone who commented on my track, here's the returns I promised :)

@ Jaspervc Cool drums, im liking the double time feel. The lower end seems to dominate the mix a bit though, sounds a tad muddy, might just be my speakers though. I like the ethnic sounding synth, try mixing up the melody a bit more though gets a tad repetitive after a while. Good stuff though.

@ Sirius Nice atmospheric intro, a bit of reverb or delay on those cymbals would sound real nice. Im enjoyin the swung triplet aswell. Really dark feel to the whole track, pads are sounding lush too. I like the way it feels like it's building to something, good stuff.

@ Kievccs Really spooky pad in the intro, I'm liking how the chord doesnt change, it just kinda hangs there. I like the the reverb on the hats, and all the little bits of perc. Loving how the track leaves you constantly waiting for something but you dont lose interest. Final section is great aswell, real nice job here :)

@ Offkey lickedbeatz I like the delayed synths in the intro, wobbles sounding nice, if not a little generic. Sweet pads in the outro, good stuff man.

@ F-R-E-D Like the chilled out feel of the intro, I kinda like the vocal, has a haunting quality to it. Not really feeling the mid-rangey bass, it jumps out at you a bit too much, takes away from the feel of the track. Drums seem to get a tad repetitive, maybe try adding more hits as the track progresses and changing up the beat a bit.
