but seriously, if i had to choose, 808 every time, 909 still pretty god damn good though. the more i produce, the more i realise i should never really use any other type of kick other than one of these two.

gota 707 and a 808...

the 707 has the cymbals and hats of the 909, so so so so good
the claps and rimshots on that thing are fucking flawless too, like was said about the hats, it'll cut through a mix like BUTTER.
the shuffle is great on it too

oh and the 808 is the bass queen

Nah only have this modern analogue clone which is sorta crap to be honest... real waste of money
Got my good friend to buy a good condition TB the other day tho (for 1000$.... so "cheap")
so I guess I'll end up borrowing it a lot.

but yea I'll take two hours with a drum machine and any synth with a sequencer over a video game ANY DAY

funnily enough my last 2 tunes i used the 909 hats haha after my 808 thing. but kick/snare/clap/rim/clav and all the rest 808s all day. lavvve it
