It's populist. The formula is simple, it has a woman signing about something vague which could be related to one's own life, it has an appegiator loop in a minor key to give a slightly melancholic , yet possibly hopeful feel. It would appeal to people in a generic chain bar/shit club/fabric (lol) maybe to have fun with their m8s, and don't know about or really give a shit about the music. If you've had a few pints it might be bearable, but that pig squealing synth does my nut.

Love the vocals but the tune sucks. Someone who will actually treat the vocals with some respect should remix this instead of just making it ultimately generic.

Not particularly groundbreaking at all, but likeable. I think that synth would sound sweet if he didn't add all that punch behind it

Hehe this is actually spot on for most dubstep, especially the songs that get rinsed to fuck.

semi-related
Speaking of flux, i wasn't really into his tunes at first and i can't say i really am now, but despite the ear-hurting noise, his tunes have an actual groove and melody, which other tearout/brostep/whatever tunes lack. The annoying thing is that weird noise he keeps rinsing all the time, which works pretty well with a solid sub under it, but from the clips i heard the mixdown just lacks the bass most of the time. When hearing his tunes in DJ sets, they sound fine though, so i huess it's nothing that a bass knob couldn't do. overally i rate flux pretty much when it comes to the tearout, because he's one of the producers which from my point of view include some musicality into their brainexplodingchainsawmentalskullcrashing midrange wobbles. plus He makes really awesome tunes from time to time (Meathead, Haunt you...)
