No disrespect to the OP, but...

I STRONGLY advise against doing a 360 deal unless:
1. The label has a successful track record of selling a lot of records (think 5-6 digits units sold per release on average)
2. The label has REAL artist management experience
3. The label has REAL booking experience and the connections to make it happen.

Look up what a 360 deal and you will see how draconian this kind of contract is for smaller independent releases.

the label and label founder has done a lot of artist management accross the dubstep and bass-heavy scene.

the label is specialising in not only viynl, cd and digital releases but also overall artist management.

for those saying all this about forum post blah blah, believe me its a big oppurtunity its not a sh*tty little label looking to sign rubbish artists.

sending in your demo's doesn't automatically mean you have signed the contract, if you send in your stuff then don't like the sound of the record deal there is no obligation to sign any contracts.

hope that clears it all up!

i have little too know clue if you thought these threads could come off as professional, but heres my critiques:

1> Alot of labels have developed reputations for theft, shady buisness practices, ect. How do I know your not here with foul play? I dont really understand what your trying to hide by not saying the label name, but thats how its coming off, like you have something to hide. I dont wanna do buisness with people who cant be honest with me.

2> Youve mentioned your doing 360 deals, but have given no indication whatsoever what either side of the deal will entail. On the releases end, you havent given us a record of your catalogue to reference. You havent given us an approximation of the share of capitol between you and your artists. You havent even told us if these will be distributed via digital or vinyl! much less who your distro is, which many people are proud of (im lookin at you fine chaps, dubsaw! biggup)... You havent mentioned a WORD about mastering, which, given some disappointing treatments in the past, i feel like that should be first on the list of things to cover, at least, I know it is for me. As far as your management side of the deal is concerned, you havent specified what your 'managers' will be able to do to benefit us. The way I understand it, the primary function of a manager is to provide advice on contracts and help secure bookings. I feel like if you wont be honest enough with us to even tell us what label you represent, i surely wouldnt want to take legal advice from your staff... and am I correct in assuming, based on your saying 'UK and Worldwide artists' that you are UK based? Can you really help people like me, sharm, deadly, ect. the stateside crew, can you really help us with bookings?

I dont wanna come off like a dickhead here man, or like im grilling you. Im simply stating whats going through alot of our heads as we read this thread. Id love to send you demo's, do buisness, or if nothing else, help support fellow up-and-coming label's with some promotion. But right now, your not coming off even remotely professionally. which leaves me to worry. even the labels who show up on here Ive had bad experiences with have come off better then this. So. Cmon dude... fill us in on more details here!!! You cant expect anyone to do buinsess blind.

Much love seriously man, and no disrespect.

For a major label they sure don't seem to spare much in terms of A&R.
