Still I like it. Fuck 8-11am nothing happens then I aint missing shit if I sleep till 1. Night time is by far the best

Yes!

I've felt the same way ever since I was a little kid. Exactly how you describe it; lethargic, bored, somewhat depressed, but around midnight, everything changes for me. It's like my mind and body are finally awake. I refuse to go to sleep because to do so would be to miss the best hours of each day. My creativity goes through the roof at night. If I try to write a tune during the day, I'll be lucky to get 8 bars done, on the other hand, at night, I'll sometimes start and finish an entire tune (+ the next several weeks to polish it up). I think better during the night. I'm so much more productive at night. I'm more creative at night. My senses become sharper and my reflexes quicker. I play instruments far better during the night. I write better during the night. Literally everything imaginable, I do better during the night. Except for sleep.

Insomnia. Perhaps it's my body telling me that it wants me to be awake during my best hours? Doesn't bother me though, as long as I've got some Burial to play, I could spend the rest of eternity lying in bed unable to sleep. As long as I've got Burial's music, each night becomes more beautiful than the last. His music is really much more than just "music". It's literally changed the way I look at life, night time especially. It's the first time it's really rained continuously since I've truly understood Burial (southern california... rain is sparse) and the feeling is indescribable. 3 am, lying in bed, with rain pouring down outside, Burial playing. It's like nothing I've ever experienced before. Those aforementioned early morning walks fueled by Burial are quite an experience as well.

If I didn't have school to go to, I'd literally become nocturnal. Over the summer, I went to bed at 10:00-11:00 and got up at 19:00-20:00 nearly every day.

definitely. I have a weird memory of being home alone in December 2 years ago. All my house mates had gone home for christmas and I wasn't going back till the 23rd or something so I was knocking about on my own for a few days. I remember the night before I left it started snowing insanely, I just stood in my pjs with my massive winter coat on just watching it for hours getting penged in the front porch listening to good musics. Was absolute nirvana :D

Wish I didn't have to be up for work most days, the night is so much more interesting than the day, shit comes alive mayne

My favorite memory from childhood was waking up in the middle of a warm August night and walking outside in my PJ's, just looking up at the sky and walking through the light from the streetlamps. For some reason that's stayed with me through the years. Whenever I get bad insomnia I do the same thing; it just feels amazingly surreal to be outside at night, everything is just so tranquil and perfect. There's really nothing like it.

Used to go on 4 hour long bike rides in the dead of night to see my girl. Good times.

That's another good one. Long distance night travel to see a girl. Definitely good memories of that...
