cmon guys... every time we do one of these i'm sure plenty of people don't make the deadline, what would the point of a deadline if we extended it every time someone was late?

that being said he hasn't posted the voting thread yet so get your shit together and send it to him real fast!!!

Could've done that too, except - it sounded like ass. I had major tuning issues that I [stupidly] decided to try and fix with a pitch correction plug (GSnap) I just started learning how to use... wound up sounding really "flammy" and phase-y in a bad way. If that hadn't been a factor then might well have sent in the 1:07 that managed to get arranged.

Also, for some reason I've been really having a problem with the last few sample packs. There's been nothing wrong with the packs per se; I just didn't have enough time to make them into something new and personal, so I keep winding up doing quick & dirty arrangements with the samples more or less as they are with the idea that I'll do some DSP on 'em later, but... then I lose interest because it sounds generic to my ears.

Couple that with a crazy work & family schedule, a friend's suicide :u: , an old PC in dire need of replacement, and other musical pursuits that just seem more compelling lately and... there you are.

Despite all that, I feel like I'm actually in a pretty good place in my life right now if ya can believe that!

Was I typing all that? I thought I was thinking. -r-

You tell that Richard Branson to go fuck himself in his hot air balloon (which, come to think of it, he probably does.)
