Re: Excision/Datsik fans? Think you'll like this one..
tone down the high frequencies on the synth, sounds flat and dry
Re: Excision/Datsik fans? Think you'll like this one..
Mate, don't think you fully understand. I WANTED to sound like excision/datsik on this track, purely because they are a huge influence on me and thought it would be cool to create a track like them. I understand some pricks get all pissy about being original, but most of the time I'm afrade thats impossible. Sure you can do different things and experiment, but I didn't want to for this track. Nothing is 'wrong' with me thanks. Cheers for the feedback, you tnuc.mondays child wrote:snypadub wrote:That tune was only slightly more upsetting than cancer.
Yep, pitch black, but certainly on the money there!
These bloody tunes all sound the same. What's wrong with you people. Get your own sounds and styles or at the very least experiment with the
form. I couldn't really call much of the constant repetition on display as music, much less 'art'.

Clearly Kromestar was hugely inspired by damian marley on this track yet he managed to use that inspiration to create a unique tribute to a good original.
Ripping off someones style isnt a fair and lasting homage. Great that you're inspired by the music you love but turn that inspiration into something unique bruv.
Bass music lover since day dot.

Yeah man I understand what your saying, and I do that with all my other tunes and try to make them as different and unique as I can. But this one was purely a try out and a bit of fun and I thought it came out alright, clearly some people didn't think that. Can't please everyone..have had some good feedback aswell as bad.snypadub wrote:
