I can't say, either way, I can only say by experience they leave me very tired, regardless of the nature of the dream. If, as the last experience I mentioned suggests, there is something more to lucid dreaming than just playing with your own subconscious, I could believe that would be true, but I'm just staying clear for the time being. I've got enough to deal with in the real world without worrying about that shit, for now anyway... Being blasted by someone in the one place you thought you were invincible is not a pleasant experience.

On the topic of dreaming, has anyone ever experienced sleep paralysis? Had that a couple of weeks ago, the worst.
