Regardles of yoi bass or not the thing is you guys know about dubstep enough to make and play whatever you want. You know the roots and you are on it with the future. I got nothing but respect for you guys and production wise your tunes are spot on.

@DJAntix... checked out the tune... some straight up dope ideas in there. Interesting that you used so much of the vocal... We ended up deciding not to on our remix, because I was worried it would get too cluttered... I like some of what you did though with the repeats, and looping. That might have been a good solution for us too had we thought of it. I think the tune you made needs like one more major drop, IMO of course. You have all the elements already in the track, just rearrange them a little, and you could make something outright sick to drop into. Right around 1:50 or so when you have that part saying "here's a classic" you could build into something from that point, and if you got the drop right, it would be absolutely epic! Also, put some more sub beneath your guitar (or whatever it is... the hit at the start of each measure), it's a little too mid-rangey for my taste. Something simple there (e.g. low passed saw or triangle) would go a long way, maybe side-chained to your kick so it just flows around it, and keeps the punchiness of your track intact. Just some thoughts.

thanks for the excellent feedback. I appreciate all your input. I'll def. do some more editing and play around with another drop. Getting things to sit well in the mix has always been the hardest thing for me, so I'm feeling you on the midrange. thanks for your honest analogy. having another set of ears that ha good input is priceless, most people just say "yeah thats sounds good" when it really doesn't.

this tune is nice i really like the strings and the fact that the intro vocals are subtle
definitely a big tune would love a 320 if there still going out or a wav would be even more awesome
